Ramadan 2025: Moderate weather forecast in Saudi Arabia
The Islamic month coincides this year with start of spring

Almost three weeks before the start of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, a Saudi meteorologist has predicted a moderate weather in the kingdom during the month marked by intense worshipping.
Aqil Al Aqil, a weather analyst at the Saudi National Centre for Meteorology, said that this year’s Ramadan will coincide with the onset of spring with moderate weather.
He told the Saudi-owned television Rotana Khalijia that the spring weather tends to be cold at the beginning, especially in Saudi Arabia’s northern regions, and moderate in the rest of the regions.
During Ramadan, Muslims abstain from eating and drinking every day from dawn to sunset when they have their Iftar meal, usually starting with nourishing palm dates.
