1. 18 sick pilgrims of 12 nationalities hospitalized in Al Madīnah hospitals have been transported to the holy sites in Makkah to enable them to both complete their treatment and perform the Hajj rituals for the year 1445 AH.

2. Saudi Health Minister inspects the Saudi Food and Drug Authority’s (SFDA) preparations ahead of the Hajj exercise.

3. The Holy Makkah Municipality has launched a multilingual WhatsApp service hotline to receive reports, inquiries, and suggestions from pilgrims, with the aim of improving communication and service delivery for a diverse population.

4. The Makkah region branch of the National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases (Weqaa) has inspected around 400,000 heads of livestock before their entry into Makkah. This inspection took place from May 23, 2024, to June 9, 2024, to ensure the animals are healthy and free from contagious diseases for the Hajj season.

5. The General Directorate of Passports announced the arrival of 1,547,295 Pilgrims for Hajj Season 1445 AH. A breakdown of the arrival data revealed that 1,483,312 pilgrims arrived via air travel, while 59,273 pilgrims entered through land ports. Sea ports received a total of 4,710 pilgrims.

6. Ghanaian man, Ismael Maysounah, expresses thanks and gratitude to the Saudi Royal Family for hosting him and granting him the privilege to perform Hajj under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program. Ismael had come for the Hajj in 2013 but had fallen sick and was unable to perform the Hajj then. 10 years later, he has another opportunity to fulfill this rite due to the Saudi Royal Family.

7. Mashariq, a Southeast Asian Pilgrims Company, has partnered with Sawani, a Public Investment Fund camel dairy company, to distribute 10,000 packs of camel milk, to pilgrims visiting the holy sites during Hajj.

8. Saudi Ambassador to Jordan yesterday bid farewell at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman to the first group of pilgrims of the State of Palestine, performing this year’s Hajj under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program. 2,000 male and female pilgrims from the families of the martyrs, prisoners, and wounded Palestinians.

9. Security Aviation teams constantly conduct aerial inspection tours in the skies of Al Madīnah during the Hajj season to monitor the security situation and ensure smooth traffic flow. The aviation team focuses on observing the movement of buses carrying Hajj pilgrims on the designated roads.

10. As many as 96 scouts and leaders from the General Administration of Education in Makkah Region are participating together with the scouts of the Ministry of Education in serving the pilgrims of the House of God for this year’s Hajj season 1445 H.

11. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has welcomed today 22 members of the families of conjoined twins who underwent separation surgery in Riyadh early this year. They are part of the 3,322 honored guests of the Saudi Royal Family sponsored for Hajj and Umrah this year.

12. The Prophet’s Mosque Library in Al Madīnah has received 157,319 visitors since the beginning of 1445 Hijri. The library has more than 176,300 books, with 2,992 in different languages. It also contains some of the rarest and most valuable books.

13. 45,600 new air conditioners have been newly installed in the tents in Mina to increase the capacity of cooling temperatures.

14. The oldest Hajj pilgrim recorded this year Sarahouda Stiti from Algeria who is 130 years old arrived yesterday in Saudi Arabia.

15. NAHCON Operations Commissioner Prince Anofiu Olanrewaju led the Nigerian delegation to the 48th Hajj Symposium held in Makkah yesterday.

16. 30 participants from Nigeria selected as part of pilgrims sponsored by the Saudi Royal Family for Hajj and Umrah arrived in Makkah 2 days ago.
