Imam Nojeem Jimoh Named New National Amir of The Companion

Imam Nojeem Jimoh, Chief Imam of the Lighthouse Muslim Community, Lekki, has been elected as the new National Amir of The Companion, a key association for Muslim businessmen and professionals.

The announcement was made yesterday, August 9, at the closing session of The Companion’s three-day National Conference held at De-Peace Hotel, Ilorin, Kwara State.

Imam Jimoh, who also serves on the Daw’ah Committee of Lekki Central Mosque (LEMU), will head the organisation for the next two years.

Before this, he was the National Naibul-Amir and led the Lagos District chapter of The Companion.

A retired oil and gas executive, Imam Jimoh formerly served as Chief Operating Officer of Taurus Oil & Gas Ltd, Ikoyi, and currently holds a non-executive director role at the company.
