1. The last NAHCON return flight was by Air Peace which departed from Jeddah to Ilorin at 07:33AM on Tuesday, 16th July, 2024 with 284 Kwara State Pilgrims, 1 Katsina State Pilgrim, 1 Niger State Pilgrim and 8 Officials.

2. NAHCON airlifts in total 50,383 Nigerian pilgrims in 119 flights in 25 days.

3. NAHCON airlifted over 50,000 Nigerian pilgrims into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 121 flights in 27 days while it returned the pilgrims back to Nigeria in 25 days on 119 flights.

4. Pilgrims’ departure to Saudi Arabia from Nigeria was between the 15th, May 2024 and 10th, June 2024, 72 hours before closure of the Saudi airspace.

5. The inaugural flight from Nigeria will took place at Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport Birnin-Kebbi on Wednesday, May 12 2024.

6. Return flights back to Nigeria for pilgrims were conducted from 22nd of June until the 16th of July, 2024 (three days ahead of scheduled 19th of July, 2024).

7. Three airlines were contracted for the airlift of pilgrims to and from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They were Air Peace, Max Air and FlyNas.

8. 15 airports all over Nigeria were designated as takeoff points for Pilgrims.

9. All Nigerian pilgrims stayed four days each in Al Madīnah and no pilgrim exceeded 38 days in Saudi Arabia.

10. Only 15 mortalities were recorded for Nigerian pilgrims according to NAHCON in the 1445 Hajj exercise.
