The President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, has inaugurated the Hidayah Center, a new initiative aimed at expanding guidance and dawah services for visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque.

It was explained that the centre was established to improve the quality and reach of religious guidance offered to the millions of worshippers and visitors who come to the mosque from across the world. It forms part of broader efforts to enhance visitors’ engagement with Islamic teachings in an organised and accessible manner.

The Hidayah Center specialises in the distribution of guidance books and educational materials, while also delivering structured dawah messages designed to support spiritual growth. The initiative seeks to enrich both the intellectual and spiritual experience of visitors by providing clear, authentic and balanced Islamic knowledge.

Officials explained that the centre places strong emphasis on promoting the values of moderation and sound understanding of Islam. By doing so, it aims to counter misconceptions and ensure that religious messages shared within the Prophet’s Mosque reflect the principles of balance, mercy and wisdom.

Speaking at the inauguration, Sheikh Al-Sudais highlighted the importance of continuous development in religious and guidance services. He stressed that serving the visitors of the two holy mosques requires constant improvement, innovation and responsiveness to changing needs.

He also called for increased use of modern technology to raise service standards, noting that digital tools can help deliver guidance more effectively and in multiple languages. According to him, technology plays a key role in extending the reach of religious messages beyond physical boundaries.

Sheikh Al-Sudais said the initiative aligns with the mission of the Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, which is to serve the two holy sites with professionalism while ensuring their message reaches a global audience in a clear and impactful manner.
